Design Approach
Build Process and Culture
Creating the right UX process will increase the probability of launching a successful product and make works easier for the team. When I expose more the UX processes and works to people, they will start to learn and think in the same way. People will understand the value of user research and more works we have done besides creating beautiful visuals.
UX Process Example: I created for Door.com.
empathize Users
Understanding customers or enterprise users is the first step. Besides conducting user research and testing for the product, I constantly talk to users to get their feedback and collect new problems and ideas. It helps quickly update the product and proactively move to the next phase.

From big to small
Having a blueprint and product vision in mind, I usually communicate with people, make a tradeoff between constrains and solutions, and scope down the product to different phases when it is necessary.
Design, Test, and Iterate
Design decisions should be made with actual qualitative and quantitative data provided by users. Several rounds of iterations will bring improvements and make the product move in the right direction and hit the business goal.
Educating and Sharing
I share what I have learned from my HCI background and awesome knowledge from other professionals to people. They will be more willing to participate in the process and more motivated to deliver the outcomes.
Show Love and Appreciation
“Instead of condemning people, let’s try to understand them. Let’s try to figure out why they do what they do. That’s a lot more profitable and intriguing than criticism; and it breeds sympathy, tolerance, and kindness.”
I’m positive even have to face hard situations. I feel happy when my work actually brought value to the company. I always show my love and appreciation and bring happiness to people.
